Simple and Easy to Make Juice for Urinary Tract Infections

According to some statistics, women are twice as likely to get urinary tract infections when compared to men. Studies show that the chances of getting a urinary tract infection during a lifetime for women are 1 in 2. Many women experience repeat infections, and that can last for years.

There is a reason why women are told to wipe from front to back after using the bathroom, which is one of the key precautionary measures women can take to avoid urinary tract infections.

The first symptoms of urinary tract infections include burning sensation when urinating, frequent or intense urge to urinate, pain in the back and lower abdomen, feeling of tiredness and fever or chills. If you check with your doctor, you will likely be given over counter medicaments or some antibiotics that should kill bacteria and intruders. However, for those who want to keep things natural, a simple juice is all you need.

  • 2 cups of watermelon without seeds
  • ½ cup of cranberries
  • ½ cup of blueberries
  • ½ of lemon

Watermelon might be summer exclusive fruit, and therefore, this drink can be used only during the summer months. To prepare the drink, first, wash your hands, and then wash the ingredients thoroughly. Remove the seeds from the lemon and the watermelon and then put all ingredients in a juicer. Drink the beverage three times per day. If you like to increase the potency of the drink, add cranberry extract to it as well.
