Lemons

  • ½ cup of oatmeal

Yoghurt and Cucumber

Rosewater and Sandalwood

  • 1 tablespoon of rose water

As usually, mix the ingredients into a paste, and then apply to your face. Let it stay a little longer, for 20 minutes, and rosewater will kill bacteria on your skin, while the sandalwood will reduce inflammation. Rinse with warm water.

 

Mango

 

The simple recipe requires you to prepare a paste of just one mango.

 

You can add little yoghurt or water if you like. Once you peel and mash the mango into a paste, apply it to your face to open up your clogged pores.

 

Citrus Juice

 

You can use either oranges, grapefruit or lemons for this recipe. Ingredients:

 

  • water

 

  • juice from one orange/lemon/grapefruit

 

How to do it:

 

Dilute the citrus juice into the water, and then apply it to your face. Let it stay for 10 minutes before washing it off with warm water.

 

Grapes

 

A simple, yet effective mask includes grapes.

 

All you need is two grapes to three grapes. Cut them in half, and then rub your face with the grapes.

 

Afterwards, wash your face with cool water.

 

Cabbage

 

Another simple recipe without many ingredients.

 

Chop the cabbage leaves, and then grind them to form a puree. You can heat the puree for several seconds in the microwave, and then apply it to your affected area.

Green Tea

Steam

 

Classic steam is another way to treat acne. For the treatment, you need:

 

  • 1 towel

 

  • 1 pot of boiling water

 

  • large bowl

 

How to do it:

 

Boil the pot of water, and then pour into a larger bowl. Let it cool down for 1-2 minutes, and then place your face above the bowl. Cover yourself with a towel, and stay there for 10 minutes (15 if you can withstand the steam). Pat your face dry after the treatment.

 

Garlic

 

One of the healthiest vegetables on the market, garlic is quite effective in treating acne as well. For the home remedy, you need:

 

  • 2 cloves of garlic

 

  • water
